SYNOPSIS: Into the Woods intertwines the stories of several classic fairy tale characters. Cinderella from the ball, Jack from the beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and others—alongside an original story of a Baker and his Wife. All of the characters have one thing in common: A wish. Act I follows their pursuit of their wishes, as they journey into the woods to achieve their “happily ever after.” Act II reveals the consequences of those wishes, as their actions collide, unraveling the illusion of a perfect ending and forcing them to confront responsibility, loss, and the necessity of community.

FINAL NOTE: We are seeking a diverse, committed cast of storytellers ready to move, imagine, collaborate, and build a dynamic ensemble. Strong acting choices and clarity of storytelling are essential.
